A small local business with a large corporate background!
My name is James Brown and I am the technician and owner of JWB Smart Repair Solutions Ltd. I offer quality mobile smart repairs for vehicle paintwork and alloy wheel refurbishments in the Sutton, Kingston, Weybridge and Leatherhead areas.
Unlike most mobile cosmetic repair companies, I am able to offer both bodywork repairs and alloy wheel refurbishment without sub contracting. This is due to my broad skills set and equipment; all work is carried out by me personally.
I am not your archetypal tradesman having obtained a degree from a Russell Group university (many years ago!). Despite my young academia, I realised that I preferred working with my hands and outdoors.
I learned to paint cars (and wheels) with a U.S owned corporate, specialising almost entirely in cosmetic insurance repairs. At first the majority of policies were sold on Audi, BMW, Mercedes and JLR and so prestige cars became the norm. However, in later years this broadened to almost all mainstream manufacturers. Every once in a while supercars would come along, in particular McLarens and this is where I gained experience repairing extreme high end cars. I then operated a smart repair franchise known as Wheelwizard Sutton, where around 50% to 70% of my work was corporate/insurance. As covid and the micro chip shortage stifled the new car market, so too the insurance sector declined. So in late 2022 I parted ways with the franchise and the insurance contracts! In January 2023 the business was re-launched and re-branded as JWB Smart Repair Solutions, aimed mainly at private/retail customers with a few motor traders.

If you visit my Facebook page you will see that it is not unusual for me to carry out work on cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche. However, I am equally at home repairing the more mainstream family car.
